Chapter 250

Brian had chosen a quiet apartment near Glea College for Ariana.

The driver helped Ariaha carry her things upstairs and then left.

The apartment was a small two-bedroom unit. For one person, it was just barely enough.

Ariana glanced around at the layout and size of the apartment and couldn't help but sigh.

“Brian’s a CEO, yet he’s so stingy,” she thought.

After setting everything up, Ariana lay down on the bed. Even small movements made her injuries hurt. Her arm

and leg were badly injured. The doctor had told her to rest for a month before starting rehab.

She looked at the calendar on her phone. There were only ten days until the exams.

In her past life, Ariana had solid high-school grades, which got her into Glea College. But after meeting Brian,

she'd neglected her studies to please him, missing a lot of courses.

Later, she picked up smanagement skills at Lodge Co., but that wouldn't directly help her pass her

university

exams.

Ariana felt a headache coming on. She regretted not studying more in the past.

Even though she had spent most of her tin the library after her rebirth, she had forgotten most of what she

learned back in college.

She needed to figure out a way to pass her exams and get her diploma first.

The next day, Ariana dragged her battered body to the library.

When Selena saw the bruises on Ariana, she was startled. “Ari, you're so badly hurt. Why are you at the library?

You're that eager to study?”

“As you can see, I've discovered my love for studying,” Ariana said, flipping through likely

y exam questions.

The university material felt overwhelming, and even passing seemed hard for her.

Selena grumbled, “You can study on your own. Why draginto this? Don’t makestudy hard too.”

Selena was there mostly to get a diploma, not to excel.

Ariana couldn’t count on Selena to teach her anything, so she propped her chin on her hand and said, “I can't

help it. I've fallen too far behind in my classes. If | can’t graduate, all these years will have been for nothing.”

“Yeah, when Brian was your fiancé, the dean would've handed you a diploma directly. Now that you're not, I'm

surprised they haven't kicked you out already.”

Ariana had taken a long break from school after her father passed away. Coming back to campus, she realized

how far behind she was. If she failed her exams, she’d have to repeat a year.

However, Glea College didn’t allow students to repeat grades. If she failed, she would be kicked out. This was

how Glea College maintained its perfect graduation rate.

Just then, Selena looked at Ariana and asked, “Wait a second. What's that exam paper you're working on?”

“What?” Ariana glanced down and said, “This is last year’s graduation exam, isn’t it?”

“No, it's not,” Selena said, pointing at the heading. “This is a doctoral finance exam paper. How did you even

manage to answer so much of it?”
