asked, “Mr. Smith, do you have a charging cable here? My phone died last night.”
Victor was washing dishes in the kitchen. “Hunter will bring one to you shortly.”
“Alright!” Ariana hummed and went upstairs.
A few moments later, Hunter arrived with the charging cable.
“Thank you,” Ariana said before plugging in her phone.
When her phone powered back on, Ariana didn’t immediately realize the gravity of the situation.
But soon, the phone began to buzz with notifications.
