Chapter 322
Chapter 322
That evening, William drove Ariana Isack to the apartment He had arranged for her. It was close to Glea College
and well-equipped. The privacy it offered kept her away from prying eyes.
When they got out of the car, Arlana could barely walk and deeded William's help just to reach the building
She kicked off her high heels and tossed them onto the ground. She had no intention of ever wearing them
again.
“Is it really that bad?”

“Oh, it’s that bad. Next time, Mr. Kingsman, you can wear gh heels and see how you like it. Besides, I'm still hurt.
Every step was torture!”
William teased her. “You acted so well | couldn't tell it was killing you
He reached out to look at the injury on Ariana’s hand.
Obviously, Brian had tried to crush her fingers to see if she was Ariana. Even though her hand turned red, she
stayed silent and endured the pain.
“Too bad it was almost healed. Now | have to redo my bandages.”
William asked, “Where do you keep the medicine? I'll get it for you.”
“Don’t bother. I'm all out.”
Ariana glanced at her red, aching hand. Then, she went into the bathroom to remove all the concealer and
custom silicone patches that hid her wounds. Underneath, her injuries were now fully exposed to the air.
She blew gently on her throbbing hand. “Brian had sspecial ointment made by experts overseas. It really
worked. | used it so often that it's gone. No idea where to get more.”
That ointment had been designed specifically for her wounds. At first, it helped a lot, but as she used it more, the
effects lessened.
Now she had severed ties with Brian, and she wasn’t about to lower herself and ask him for more. She would
rather suffer than go crawling back.
“I'll call my personal doctor. Tomorrow he can check your injuries. If they're serious, you might need to go to the
hospital. Remember, your exams are coming up soon. How will you handle them?”

William added, “I should warn you that this year’s finals are tough. You might fall.”
He obviously doubted her abilities.
Ariana said, “Just watch. I'll surprise you this time.”
Seeing Ariana so confident, William arched an eyebrow. “Fine. I'll wait to see how big this surprise is.”
“It'll be huge!”
Once William left, Ariana quickly removed her makeup and collapsed onto her soft bed.
She didn’t mind other things as much, but she had always disliked makeup. She wasn’t very skilled at it herself.
Whenever she did try, it never turned out as neatly as it did today.
If William hadn’t found that top makeup artist, she would never have realized how stunning she could look
