Chapter 0649
Chapter 0649
Suzy never imagined that one day her father would point a gun at her-let alone to avenge Charlotte.
The moment Timothy appeared, Dylan instinctively stepped in front of Suzy without hesitation, "She's your
biological daughter. Are you sure you want to do this to her?"
"Who do you think you are? The issue betweenand her is none of your business. If you don't want to die, get
out of my way!" Timothy barked, his emotions completely controlled by the poison.
All he knew was that Suzy had killed Charlotte, and his only goal was to avenge her.
Seeing Timothy like this made Suzy's heart ache. "Charlotte isn't dead. She's waiting for you at home. If you
cback with me, you'll see her."
"Lies!" Timothy snapped. "She was killed by you! | was there, watching from the shadows when she was buried.
You can't deceive me!"

and don't dare cwith me? No matter what, you're my father. Do you really think I'd harm you?"
Timothy hesitated for a moment before finally agreeing. "Fine, I'll go with you and see. But if you're lying to me, |
won't let you off!"
"I'm not lying," Suzy assured him, glancing at Dylan. She signaled for him to arrange everything.
Understanding her instantly, Dylan discreetly sent a message to Desmond, instructing the operative posing as
Charlotte to wait for them at Hillside Villa.
Hillside Villa
As soon as Timothy entered the villa, he started searching frantically. "Charlotte, where are you?"
Not finding her on the ground floor, he turned to Suzy angrily. "You said she was alive. Where is she? Where's the
person? You liar! | shouldn't have trusted you!"
"You only checked downstairs," Suzy pointed out, gesturing toward the second floor. "Why not look upstairs?"
Chapter 0649
Timothy shot her a suspicious look but didn't argue. Without another word, he stormed upstairs. At the top of the
staircase a woman resembling Charlotte emerged from one of the rooms.
The sight of her made Timothy freeze, his eyes wide with disbelief. "Charlotte? Is it really you?"
Timothy rushed toward the woman, wrapping her tightly in his arms. "So you really didn't die! | thought I'd never
see you again! Just the thought of losing you madefeel like | couldn't go on. Charlotte, you are my
everything. Without you, I'm like a fish out of water-I can't breathe!"
Downstairs, Suzy heard his words, and the bitterness in her heart deepened.
Her father's obsession with Charlotte had reached a point beyond redemption. If the poison were truly removed,
and he cto fully realize everything that had happened between himself and Charlotte, it would likely be
unbearable for him.
Perhaps it was better this way. At least in his current state, he could live out his remaining years in peace.
Dylan, sensing Suzy's thoughts, rolled his wheelchair closer and quietly said, You've done the right thing."
Suzy glanced at Dylan, her expression complicated. "Maybe."

to pick you up?"
"My grandmother has been mentioning you a lot these past few days," Dylan said hesitantly. "She wants to see
you but worries you wouldn't want to see her. If it's convenient, maybe | could bring her to visit you tomorrow?"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Dylan's unease grew, afraid that Suzy might reject his suggestion outright.
