same as how
you used to look at Jasper.”
Alyssa lowered her gaze speechlessly. She grumbled, “Why must you involve me in Taty’s
affairs?”

divorce.
“But how could he go after Taty right after he confessed to me? That seamless timing is

“Lyse, Sean is not that type of person. Regarding the timing, I think he just didn’t realize

“Do you love or hate him right now? Can you be certain that your feelings for him are only
resentment,
with no trace of affection?”
Her heart twinged with pain, her breath catching.
Her thoughts went back to that eventful night when a severely injured Jasper carried her
