No sooner had he finished speaking, Beck caught the change in Stella's expression.
The last hint of color drained from her face, only to return in a slight sigh of relief when she recognized him.
"Beck, it's you. You scared the life out of me."
Beck's brow furrowed, realizing that perhaps she wasn't as strong as he had thought. Tonight's events had clearly left a deep mark
on her.
She hadn't cried or made a fuss, leading him to believe she had moved past it.
But of course, it was her own brother, an, involved in the mess. How could she, as his sister, simply be okay?
Her apparent resilience was just a facade.
Feeling a sudden softness in his heart, Beck immediately sent a servant to fetch a sleeping pill.
"Take this and try to get ssleep."
"Beck, | knew it. You're really a good guy."

Hearing this, Beck's face darkened. He hardly found thement flattering and, frustrated, turned and left.
Stella swallowed the pill.
She had always avoided such medication, fearing it would leave her too vulnerable, unaware of who might enter her room while
she was deeply asleep.
Taking a deep breath, she leaned back, but soon felt a wave of nausea.
It was a physical reaction to the stress. If she didn't deal with an soon, this shadow might haunt her for life.
Her phone rang, and she quickly went to the bathroom to answer it, eager to hear the familiar voice on the other end ask what she
had been up to.
Stella didn't feel like recounting the night's events, instead inquiring,
"Is Bonnie still with Alan?"
"Yes, and Alan seems quite taken with her now."
Charming? Stella scoffed inwardly, probably just Bonnie's usual sweet talk.
But then Stella understood; men probably knew Bonnie was playing different roles with different people, but her desperate
attempts to please were somehow appealing, making them happy to indulge her.
Alan's fascination wouldn't last. Once he learned about Bonnie and an's fallout, the taboo thrill of being with his brother's
woman would vanish, along with her allure.
Suppressing the urge to vomit, Stella asked about Anna.
Anna was Bonnie's lackey, the most successful at currying favor.
Anna cfrom nothing, but by aligning with Bonnie, she now flaunted designer labels, seemingly elevating her social status. This
made her look down on others, like how she disregarded Maja.
Anna was an easy target.
"Anna's still looking for Bonnie, but Bonnie's little gang remains loyal. Stella, what's your plan?"
A sly smile crossed Stella's face. "Send Anna a message. She's still fuming about Maja slapping her. Let her direct her anger
towards Maja instead."

There was a hesitant silence on the other end.
"Are you sure? Sending a message is easy, but you're now with the Sanders family. If they find out, they won't let you off easily."
Stella's gaze dropped, her resolve unwavering.
"No matter what | do, the Sanders family won't letbe. Do you think they're fools? Beck's been holding onto my identity, and it's
only a matter of tbefore they uncover something. Might as well take down Bonnie and an with me. If I'm going down, I'm
taking them with me."
No, make that three, including Anna.
Stella's eyes sparkled with mischief at the agreement on the other end.
"Don't worry, you'll get your money."
Stella had always been frugal, with most of her savings going to this man.
But she had no regrets. This man had been a significant help, her most trusted ally, even though they had never met.
And when Anna received the message, she recalled the audacity of the woman who had slapped her. In her twith Bonnie, no
one had dared to cross her like that.
She couldn't let it go, instructing her cronies to keep an eye out for that woman, ready to teach her a lesson she wouldn't et.
