Chapter 419

Scorpion acted quickly. As soon as the two had finished talking, he arranged for a car to take Briana to the airport.

“To avoid being targeted, we decided to go separately. I had already bought yo ur plane ticket, you just needed to go to the airport, pick it up and board the pl ane. Once you arrived at your destination, we had arranged for someone to pick you up.”

“Understood.”

After dropping Briana off at the airport, the driver left immediately. She put on her mask and went straight into the airport.

After getting her ticket, Briana found her boarding gate and found a place to sit and wait for boarding.

At the same time, Tyrone had been in Faywick for several days without finding a ny trace of Briana. He planned to have his people continue the search here while he returned first.

When he was going through security and looking for his boarding gate, he sudde nly saw a familiar figure in a boarding line.

His gaze abruptly halted, staring intently at the other person for a long time, fin ally confirming that the person must be Briana!

He hurried to catch up, but the other party had already checked in and boarde d the plane.

Tyrone quickly checked the destination of that plane and was shocked to see th at it was heading to Country D.

He only saw Briana, what about Norma?

Moreover, why did Briana go to Country D, and why didn’t she contact Maxim?

Tyrone suppressed his doubts and immediately used his connections to get a ti cket on the same fiight.

Before boarding the plane, Tyrone hesitated for a long time, but still didn’t tell Maxim that he had found Briana. He didn’t know whether he was afraid of Maxim worrying or he just wanted to keep Briana’s whereabouts to himself out of selfishness.

Several hours later, the plane landed.

As soon as Briana left the airport, she got into a black Lamborghini. Tyrone followed by taxi, but was quickly spotted a nd shaken off by her.

With no other options, he had to go to the Moyer Group’s branch in Country D first.

The branch manager, Virgil, saw him, his face full of surprise.

“Mr. Moyer, how come you suddenly came here? Is there any new strategy from t he headquarters?”

Tyrone looked a bit uncomfortable and said, “No, I came here for some persona l matters. I’ll give you a license plate number, you check who the owner of this l icense plate is.”

Virgil nodded, “Okay.”

Soon, Virgil strode into Tyrone’s office, his face looking somewhat unpleasant.

“Mr. Moyer, the license plate number you asked me to look up has

yielded results. It belongs to a mercenary organization in Country D. Mr. Moyer, why were you looking up this license plate number? Have you gotten yourself into some trouble?”

Tyrone was shocked inside, but his face remained expressionless, “No, I just saw that car on the way here and was a bit interested.”

Virgil quickly said, “Mr. Moyer, this mercenary organization is very mysterious, b ut it’s said that those who cross them never end well.”

Catching Virgil’s insinuation, Tyrone chuckled, “Don’t worry, Virgil, I wouldn’t do anything outrageous for a car. But I am quite interested in this mercenary organ ization, tell me about it.

Virgil nodded, “Okay.”

For the next hour, Virgil told Tyrone all sorts of things about the mercenary orga nization, but what he talked about most were the organization’s deeds of murd er. His aim was to ensure that Tyrone wouldn’t provoke the people from the mer cenary organization because of that car.

The more Tyrone listened, the more alarmed he became.

Why would Briana get involved with such an organization? She was clearly just a daughter of the Schneider family who had been missing for over a decade, and in no way seemed to have any connection with the word ‘mercenary‘.

As Tyrone’s silence grows, Virgil hits the tracks. “It never ends well for anyone w ho opposes the mercenaries, Mr. Moyer. When you see that car again, don’t go n ear it.”

Tyrone nodded thoughtfully, “I see. By the way, could you help me look up some one?”
