Jonathan gripped Estelle’s hand tightly and said to Emily, “I really appreciate all the care you’ve given her during
this time.”
Emily quickly shook her head, “No way! If anything, Estelle’s been taking care of me more.”
She realized she had missed the point and asked with a little smirk, “So, you two are really back together?”
Estelle’s eyes sparkled with a gentle glow, “We were planning on telling you at dinner.”
“Awesome!” Emily winked at Estelle, “I’m super stoked.”
Even though Jonathan had hurt Estelle before and Magdalen Sampson had a major beef with Jonathan, always
warning Estelle to stay away from him, she knew that Estelle would never forget Jonathan and choose Manley
instead,
She also trusted her gut that Jonathan truly loved Estelle.

“Let’s have dinner at home tonight then; I’ll cook,” Emily said excitedly, “We need to celebrate your reunion.”

Finally, they decided to have dinner at home. Emily went on to play with Kya while Estelle and Jonathan went to the
nearby supermarket to buy groceries. As the evening drew in, Jonathan drove Estelle to the supermarket.
On the way, Jonathan asked Estelle, “Would you mind if we invited one more person?”
Estelle looked back at him, “Charlie James?”
Jonathan nodded, “I think there may be something between him and Emily, you don’t want Emily to raise Kya alone
or marry someone else, would you?” Estelle thought about it and still had some doubts, “What are Charlie’s feelings
for Emily?””
“I don’t know, but Charlie hasn’t had a new relationship for the past two years.”
Remembering how much Charlie adored Kya, Estelle nodded and said, “Let’s invite him.”
Jonathan took Estelle’s hand and said with a gentle smile, “Charlie will be grateful.”
Estelle gave a small laugh, “I don’t need his gratitude; I just hope he won’t hurt Emily.”
“He won’t,” Jonathan said confidently.
Once they got to the supermarket, they both pushed their shopping cart around, picking out ingredients and even
buying some snacks for Kya.
Jonathan called Charlie but couldn’t get through, so he texted him, “Would you like to join us for dinner tonight? At
Emily’s.”
About five minutes later, Charlie called back, “Where are you?”
“We’re buying groceries; Emily wants to invite you to dinner, are you in?” Jonathan said with a chuckle.
Charlie took a pause, then joked, “Did you and Estelle get back together? You’re already starting to have dinner at
Emily’s?”

“I’m free tonight; I can grant your request.”
“No need to force yourself!”
“I can grant your plea!”
After a bit more banter, they hung up.
Estelle put two boxes of ice cream into the cart and asked, “How did Charlie respond?”
Jonathan frowned at the ice cream in the cart, then gave a slight smirk, “Has nobody been keeping tabs on you for
the past two years?”
Estelle shrugged, “As long as I’m happy, they let me be!”
Jonathan smirked again, “Try to behave a bit more, put them back.”
