Estelle couldn’t think of anything to say. Although Manley had ulterior motives, he indeed helped her a

“Of course, I have to thank Estelle!” Hattie said with a mischievous smile, looking innocent. “We were
really close when she was with Mr. Lamont. I’m definitely going to pay her back for helping me out
this time.”
Manley caught on that this woman was trying to sow discord between him and Estelle, thinking he
didn’t know about Estelle and Jonathan. She was deliberately reminding him.
Manley narrowed his eyes and motioned for Hattie to come closer.
Hattie immediately took a step forward.
Manley asked, “Doesn’t Mr. Daly have no requirements for the character of his lead actress?”
Hattie was stunned.
Manley’s face turned cold, and he sneered, “I think Mr. Daly’s choice of people is really poor. This
movie is doomed even without me sabotaging it!”
Manley then ordered the driver, “Let’s go. I’m feeling sick. Staying here another second might make me
throw up!”
The car quickly started and left, with Manley’s disgusted face gradually fading into the darkness.
Hattie stood there with a livid face, gritting her teeth.
