“Evelyn, thank you.” He thanked her for taking care of him. tirelessly in the hospital and also for

soon she greeted her with a smile. “You must be Ms. Shelton, right?”
Evelyn almost lost her mind and quickly replied, “Yes. Who are
you?”
“Hasn’t Mr. Lloyd told you yet?” The woman quickly wiped the water on her apron. “I’m the new maid,

to the master bedroom on the second floor. No one was in
the bedroom, but the cloakroom door was open. She was so
hurried that she didn’t even knock on the door and quickly
