Chapter 337 An Unexpected Surprise
They lay on the bed until it was almost lunchtime. When Evelyn
was about to go downstairs to order Sadie to cook, Huston stopped her. “Let’s go out for lunch.”
“What?” Evelyn looked him up and down. “Is your body okay?”
“I’m fine.” Huston sat up from the bed, revealing his toned eight–pack abs beneath the soft sheets.
“Just freshen up, and
we can leave.”
“Have you booked the place?”
“Yes.” Seeing Evelyn’s surprised expression, Huston found it funny. “All you have to do is follow me.”
After listening, Evelyn blushed and entered the walk–in closet.
Inside were three large wardrobes filled with the latest styles for each season, all purchased by Huston
for her. Evelyn
carefully picked out two pieces–a black knitted dress with a cinched waist featuring a V–neck that was
revealing but not
too revealing. She paired it with a long white coat, looking warm and stylish without appearing too
bulky.

Huston was shaving his beard. He didn’t like using electric shavers, so he used a razor blade to shave
himself. Every time
Evelyn saw him bending over, carefully shaving his beard, her
heart would flutter with excitement.
Huston looked at her from head to toe and praised her generously. “You look good.”
“Really?” Evelyn’s eyes curved into a crescent shape as she
smiled. She looked so cute when she narrowed her eyes that
one would want to kiss her.
And indeed, Huston did just that. He held onto her head and
leaned in closer.
There were still traces of white foam on his lips. Quite a bit of it had smeared onto her chin and cheek.
Evelyn turned her head in disdain and said, “You haven’t finished shaving your beard
yet…”
Huston looked at her resistant expression and felt a softness. in his heart. He had a strong urge to pull
her into his arms and give her a passionate kiss, but in the end, he managed to
restrain himself.
They had to go out later, and if he lost control again, they
probably couldn’t leave.
After packing up, they went to the garage. As Evelyn looked down at her phone, she subconsciously
walked toward the Bentley. She walked up to the car door and pulled it open, but it was not opened.
She turned to look at Huston behind her
and asked, “Why didn’t you unlock it?”
Huston wore a dark gray casual suit, unbuttoned and slightly loose. It was a new design from Danvi this
year. The trousers
were cropped at the ankle, with two raised narrow stripes running down the leg, making his legs appear
longer.
He pointed at the Aston Martin next to him. “Get in this one.”
Looking at the metallic Aston Martin sports car, Evelyn was slightly surprised. “You want to drive this
one?”
“Yes.” Huston walked over and opened the car door for her. “Please, Ms. Shelton.”
Evelyn became stiff all over and almost walked clumsily
with matching hands and feet. After getting into the car, she looked at the luxurious interior and
exclaimed, “Why are you
going for such an extravagant style today?”
He rarely drove sports cars, mostly opting for sedans. Today,
however, he unexpectedly chose a brightly colored sports car, which was quite surprising.
With practiced movements, Huston started the car and looked sideways. “You don’t like it?”
“I like it.” Evelyn looked at it curiously. How could she not like it? Everyone had a bit of vanity, and

The car exited the underground garage, and the roar of the engine filled Evelyn’s heart with excitement.
She urged Huston
to open the convertible top, and he complied. As the wind blew her hair across her forehead, it could
make people want to reach out and touch it upon seeing it.
Half an hour later, the car parked in front of a highly secluded
Frenco restaurant.
Huston stopped the car, told her to get out first, and then drove into the parking lot.
Evelyn stood in place, waiting for Huston to come over. After
a while passed with no sign of him, she was about to call
him when a waiter in a vest approached her. The waiter
respectfully said, “Ms. Shelton, this is your gift.”
A black velvet gift box was placed in front of her. She pointed
at herself. “Mine?”
“Yes.”
Evelyn took it suspiciously. After opening the golden buckle, there was a delicate crystal ball with a
small arrow pointing to
the front.
Evelyn looked in that direction and felt her heart instantly hit. She finally understood what was going
