She didn’t say much during the whole process. Most of the time, she listened to them. When she was
suddenly asked for advice, she almost couldn’t react. “Lucas’s birth certificate is still in Eoland. Will it
affect the procedures?”
“He can adapt to the atmosphere of the kindergarten first. After all, he joins in the middle of the course,
we have to let the teacher take care of him alone. As for the materials, you can make up for it later.”

sentence.
Lucas recalled what he had just said and realized what he had called him. He immediately became a
little cautious and looked at Evelyn for help.
As a mother, she immediately understood. She took the child from his head and whispered, “Don’t
scare Lucas.”
Huston closed his eyes, afraid that he would scare the child if he was too emotional. He raised his head
and pressed down on his temples. The throbbing of his fingertips reminded him of how excited he was.

“Mm,” he answered in a deep voice. His heart was beating strongly, but he tried his best to suppress it.
“I’ll pick you up tonight.”
“Call me later. I’m going upstairs.”
“Okay.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Lucas, who had been hiding behind her, suddenly tilted her body,
poked out half of her head, and quickly said, “Goodbye, Dad!”
The next second, the soft little body disappeared into the corridor, leaving only the sound of footsteps
upstairs.
