Chapter 728 Look at Me, Don’t Look at Them
“He is…”
Caleb’s eyes widened, and the depths of his eyes revealed pure foolishness.
Jack patted his shoulder. “Really, I strongly advise you to leave this island now.
Even if you have to swim, don’t linger here.”
Caleb had never experienced such a situation. Seeing the sincere look in Jack’s
eyes, he didn’t dare to stay any longer and quickly ran away.
Watching his retreating figure, Jack sneered, “Daring to flirt with Miss Clinton
right in front of Mr. Smith? I’ll scare you to death!”

Seeing the two of them still lingering on the side, Jack gestured to the nearby
chef by beckoning with his finger, indicating that they should leave together.
After the two of them left, Joe reluctantly let go of Charlotte.
Thinking about what he had just witnessed, he lowered his head and looked at
Charlotte with a half-smile. “Are you satisfied with my kissing skills, Miss
Clinton?”
It was a simple address, but it made Charlotte feel all tingly. She blinked her
misty eyes and softly retorted, “He was the one talking the whole time; I didn’t
respond.”
Without waiting for Joe to reply, Charlotte continued, “Besides, your presence
here wasn’t arranged for the singles’ party. Why are you here?”
Charlotte’s words made Joe pause for a moment, and then he confidently
stated, “Because I realized I regretted it.”
Originally, he thought he wouldn’t mind, but when he heard Jack mention that a
group of male models had arrived on the island, he couldn’t sit still any longer.
He had initially just wanted to sneak a peek, but little did he know that he would
stumble upon such an explosive scene. Of course, he couldn’t endure it.
Charlotte responded to him with a wry smile, “So it seems we’re even now.”
She waved her hand at Joe, “My bachelorette party isn’t over yet. See you the
day after tomorrow.”
Just as she turned around, Joe increased the strength of his grip and pulled her
into his arms.
“It’s just a bachelorette party, right? I can help you with that,” Joe said in a deep
voice.
Charlotte felt speechless.
Before she could say anything, Joe lifted her up in a princess carry and
purposefully crossed the pool, causing the crowd to cheer.
Zoe chuckled in amusement. “How come I never noticed before that Mr. Smith

getting involved?”
“But look at the genuine smile on Charlotte’s face. She’s clearly under Joe’s
spell,” Lena, who was nearby, said with a cool smile.
Mandy, who had somehow joined the conversation, added, “But to be honest,
Mr. Smith’s quality is much higher than those male models.”
With that statement, there was a moment of silence, and everyone could only
nod in agreement, saying, “You have a point. Let’s not bother her anymore.”
Charlotte was surprised to find that her friends had given up on persuading her
to continue playing. She was carried by Joe to the bamboo pavilion behind the
underwater palace.
Joe had somehow adjusted something, and the lighting in the bamboo pavilion
suddenly became intimate.
He placed her on a bamboo chair in the room, bent down, and locked eyes with
her. “Look at me, don’t look at them,” he said.
Charlotte was puzzled, then suddenly heard a bluesy and suggestive song
playing from the speakers.
Meanwhile, Joe unbuttoned his collar and stood in front of Charlotte.
Charlotte’s eyes widened. Could it be what she was imagining?
