Then he hung up, got up and went into the bathroom. After the two of them had bathed, they went to bed.
Neither of them got up early the next morning. Although the apartment was cleaned regularly, there was no one had lived here for a long tso there was little food in the refrigerator.

Scarlett had just walked into the City Hall when she saw a long queue of at least a dozen couples.

The man froze for a second and then smiled at Raymond and Scarlett, "Hello, Mr. Shaw and Ms. Reed." Scarlett froze. It was only after she was pulled inside the queue by Raymond that she reacted to the fact that Raymond had already asked someone to queue up.
As Raymond had someone cearly to queue up, shortly after they arrived at the City Hall, it was their turn to register their marriage.
