Shelly smiled brightly. "Honey, it's just that | believe we shouldn't judge others based on their circumstances. Look at me. I'm not a
match for you either, in terms of wealth and status, but no one in your family has ever looked down on me. | just feel | can relate to
Lucas more."
Hayden countered, "You can'tpare yourself to him. | can support you, but Ivy will endure hardships if Lucas isn'tpetent."
Hayden was not being stubborn or archaic. He simply could not maintain hisposure when it cto his sister's happiness.
