have stung her. He shook her, shouting, "Lily?! Lily!"

'Why would he say that? She's still breathing, isn't she?"

"She was fine two days ago. Why is she dying now?" He was unconvinced. "What's wrong with her?"

abnormal. Her heartbeat, especially, is so slow that it looks like it's about to stop at any time. There's no doubt that she's dying!"

Although he was afraid, he had to tell the truth. If not, Fred might kill him if Lily suddenly died.

"Her heartbeat is stopping?" Fred let the doctor go and turned to look at the heart rate monitor. Indeed, it was dangerously slow.

The doctor waved no. "We can't! If we do, she might not be able to take it. Besides, she's in a coma!"
