Fred thoughtfully paced back and forth for a long while. He looked somewhat anxious as he asked, “Who else knows about this?”
Stunned, Rhea shook her head. “No one, | think.”
“Not even Lily?” Fred was incredulous. After all, Lily had developed R10 and should know if there were issues with it.
“Well... I'm not sure,” Rhea murmured, “As you know, we don’t like each other, and she wouldn't tellanything. Perhaps she
doesn’t know or simply chose not to tellabout it.”
Fred frowned but thought Rhea was being reasonable.
“| see,” he said solemnly.

“We'll proceed with the experiment tomorrow,” Fred replied decisively.
Rhea did not expect him not to change his mind.
‘Why is he so adamant?!”
“But the drug—"
Fred interrupted, “There’s nothing wrong with it, and the experiment will succeed. Is that clear?”
Rhea hesitated when she saw his glare. She nodded slowly, saying, “Yes, Your Grace.”
She finally realized Fred would proceed with the experiment even if she told him it would surely fail. She could not understand why,
but there was nothing she could do.
“Okay, return to the lab and rest.” Fred waved her off while yawning. “You must stay sharp for the experiment tomorrow.
“Oh, yeah!” He remembered something and opened the drawer, removing a phone from it. “This is yours, right?”
Surprised, Rhea nodded. “Yeah.”
“Mike Corden called many times, but | didn’t answer.” He tossed the phone to her. “Ask him if he has secured the invisibility potion
formula."
"Now?" Shocked, Rhea widened her eyes.
‘It’s midnight, so Mike should be asleep by now. Besides, won't Alexander and the others suspect something if | called Mike so
