He hugged Abigail, “I’m here; don’t be scared. If she dares harass you again, tell me right away. I’ll deal
with her.”
Abigail nodded, wiping away her tears, “Why did she have to insult Nelly? Nelly’s had it hard enough.
Nelly’s in P City, not bothering them; why does she have to drag Nelly into this?”
Zack felt sad too, but he couldn’t change people’s views of Cornelia or stop the slander against her.
