Brandon was overjoyed. He stared at Savanna’s

mask with anticipation.

Brandon helped Savanna take a shower, wrapped her in a bath towel, carried her to the bed, and dried

her hair. Savanna’s cheeks were red and her lips were rosy. She pressed down on Brandon’s hand and

said, “I can do it myself.”

“Let me serve you.” Brandon smiled and grabbed her wet hair with a gentle expression.

After Brandon dried her hair, Savanna took her pajamas and put them on.

Brandon went to the bathroom to clean himself up after Savanna lay on the bed.

As Brandon took the shower, Savanna picked up her phone and opened iMessage. Neil had texted her,

“Ms. Thompson, I’ve found Mia’s whereabouts. An hour ago, someone saw Rafael angrily pulling Mia

out of Falcon Fest Bar and getting her into his car.”

Savanna replied, “Okay.”

Savanna opened TikTok. She liked to give thumbs up to financial videos. Therefore, TikTok always

recommended many financial videos to her. She noticed that some share prices fell, a company went

public, and two famous companies signed a cooperation agreement.

For some unknown reason, Savanna found a short drama. Each episode lasted one minute. Bang! A

woman was slapped in the face. She covered her swollen face with burning anger as if she wanted to

eat the man who beat her up alive.

The man smiled mischievously. When the woman jumped up and raised her hand to hit him, he

grabbed the woman’s arm and pressed her against the wall. He bent down and bit the woman’s lips

hard. Blood flowed from her mouth.

Although it was not real, Savanna felt nervous.

Savanna saw the names of the actor and the actress. It was Rafael and Mia.

Brandon came out, still wet.

He glanced at Savanna’s phone screen. Savanna was watching a short online drama. Brandon smiled,

“I didn’t know that you are so interested in this kind of thing.”

Savanna said, “Women are different than men both physically and mentally. Men like fighting, killing, or

solving mystery cases, but women like to watch ordinary life and romantic love stories.”

Brandon did not say anything. After all, he was not a woman. He was unable to understand a woman’s

mind.

“Go to sleep. It’s getting late.”

“Alright.” Savanna put the phone aside.

Brandon leaned against her back again. Savanna did not refuse his intimate behavior. However, she

still, felt uneasy. When she slept with Brandon, she could not take off the mask on her face. After her

face was injured, she had never slept with a mask. The mask

was too hard and she would feel uncomfortable.

In the darkness, Brandon slowly raised his hand and held the corner of the mask. Savanna was

shocked and suddenly opened her eyes. She immediately stopped him, but he said gently, “Don’t

worry, I won’t look at you. Good night.”

With Brandon’s guarantee, Savanna let go of her hand. Brandon took off the mask on her face.

Savanna still did not dare to sleep until Brandon fell asleep. Only then did she slowly close her eyes.

Savanna woke up in the middle of the night. In the darkness, it took her some time to see clearly. The

lights outside the window reflected on the ceiling. She looked at it and realized that Brandon was lying

next to her. She reached out to search for the mask and quickly put it on. Then she fell asleep

peacefully.

In the morning, when she woke up, Brandon was already gone.

Savanna washed up and went downstairs. There was breakfast on the table and also a note, “Baby,

good morning. I have a lot of work to do today. I’ll leave

first.”

Savanna imagined Brandon calling her ‘baby’. It was very sweet. Being loved made Savanna happy.

She ate the egg and drank warm milk comfortably.

At noon, Seth brought a new mask over. Savanna touched the soft mask and was moved. She never

knew that Brandon was such a caring person.

Savanna remembered that when Brandon didn’t like her, he treated her very indifferently.

Seth said, “Mrs. Young, the mask is handmade. And it’s made of top quality materials. It feels soft. You

can wear it while sleeping at night, and you won’t feel uncomfortable.”

Savanna smiled happily.

Seeing this, Seth felt happy, too. His biggest wish was that Shelton and Savanna could be happy.

Seth left.

Savanna took the mask back to her room and sat at the dressing table. She took off the old mask and

put on the new mask.

The style of the masks was the same, but Savanna felt that this new mask was more beautiful.

Neil sent another message. “Ms. Thompson, Mia was raped last night. She wants to sue the rapist. She

is in the headlines now.”

Savanna frowned and quickly texted back, “Is the rapist Rafael?”

“This morning, the public relations department of

the Colon Group quickly replied. I guess it should be Rafael. Ever since Mrs. Young was hospitalized,

job.

Savanna went to the hospital with flowers and fruits.

Just as she walked to the ward, she saw two policemen coming out of the ward. Savanna leaned

sideways and waited for the policemen to pass before she entered the ward.

Hearing the footsteps, Mia thought that the police had returned. Mia shouted impatiently, “I have

nothing to say. It was Rafael who raped me…”

When Mia saw Savanna at the door, she swallowed her words.
