Chapter 1210

Ninian was not a selfish person who neglected the safety of others.

After she sent an emergency text to Harold, she observed the movement on the other side.

Once they took any action, she would immediately step out and shout. She was far away from them, so she was

confident about getting away.

Besides, in a banquet where famous people in the entertainment industry were gathered, she did not believe that

anyone would be bold enough to do something wicked in public.

Indeed, as expected, the drunk man was released not long after.

A bodyguard even helped him to walk back as if he wanted to send the man back to the banquet.

After some thought, Ninian lifted her gown and easily jumped over the railing in the corridor. She found a big tree

and hid behind it.

The bodyguard brought the man closer and closer. When they passed by her hiding place, she faintly heard the

young man mumbling.

“It was her. She asked me… to come and look for her friends…

“She’s so… um… beautiful… like a fairy…”

She heard the bodyguard’s deep and hoarse voice, but his tone was not very audible. “Find her. Our boss will give

her to you.”

“Haha! Okay…” The young man giggled in a tipsy way.” Find her… Sleep with her…”

Ninian dared not make a sound, but her pupils instantly shrunk.

It turned out that those people released him because they

wanted to find her.

Her situation was a little perilous at the moment. There was danger in front and behind her. She could only hope

that Harold would get to her early.

Right then, Ninian felt a bit regretful. She had been too impulsive, just rushing forward with little intelligence. She

did not even know what kind of people she would encounter.

She stood in the shadows, and the figures in the pavilion appeared blurry to her. It seemed that there was still

another person besides Agnes and Paul.

The person looked like a man based on his figure and silhouette.

She bit her bottom lip, and a sharp glint flashed in her eyes.

Since she was already there, she had to see what kind of people were planning to set her up.

She took out her phone, turned on the camera, and kept zooming.

The blurry outline in the distance slowly became clearer.

There were indeed three people standing in the pavilion.

Two people were standing respectfully at the side. Their blurry appearance indicated that they were truly Agnes and

Paul.

Someone was standing in front of them while staring into the distance with his arms behind his back.

Ninian focused the camera’s lens and carefully examined the person in the middle.

The moment she saw the person’s side profile, shock filled Ninian’s eyes, and she nearly screamed.

How could it be?

She quickly took a few photos and put her phone away after she kept two photos. She stood still and could not help

but hold her hand over her heart.

Her heart pounded so quickly that it almost jumped out of her chest.

She dared not peek at them anymore. People from big

families like them had been through countless training sessions since they were little, so they were highly sensitive

toward other peoples‘ sight and attention.

She had initially hidden there to wait for Harold’s arrival, but those people in the pavilion took action all of a

sudden.

The leader raised his arm and swung it down. Then, a few bodyguards came out of the shadows and approached

Ninian’s location.

However, they did not pass through the long corridor and enter the banquet hall as the bodyguard had earlier.

They stopped in the corridor and extended their husky voice into the garden. “Ms. Ninian Winters, our boss would

like to invite you for a gathering.”

Ninian did not move. She even went as far as breathing lightly.
