Her fingers were round and pink, which melted his cold and hard heart for some reason.
Earl raised his hand, patted the back of her hand, and said in a husky voice, “I‘ll stand guard outside th
e door. If there‘s any problem, just call me.”
He turned around and walked outside. He even took Arden and the other two bodyguards out with him.
When Arden went outside, he turned back and cast a sharp glance at Adina.

so?”
“I really love Duke, but he‘s dead. He can’t be
resurrected from the dead. What else can I do?” Adina flashed a self-
mocking smile. “Earl looks identical to Duke. I can pretend as if the man | love is still alive. With
this, I could still have the courage to stay alive. So, Miss Catherine, please don‘t come and disturb our li
fe anymore.”
