Chapter 891 Duke only calmed down when Adina approached him and patted his back gently. He

pursed his lips and continued, “The surveillance is probably destroyed. Hire a hacker and restore it. We

must find Earl.”

Duke was still furious even after hanging up. “Calm down...” Adina said softly. “You know Earl. He‘ll

never let himself get imprisoned for the rest of his life. He probably has been planning his escape the

first day he got imprisoned...”

Duke held her icy cold hand and said gently, “Addy, if you hadn’t wanted to talk to Earl, I might not

know when I would learn that he‘s missing...” “Duke, now is not the time to blame yourself.” Adina

reassured him, “We should think of potential places where he might be hiding.”

Duke had a stern expression. He gritted his teeth and said, “He‘s most probably coming to Sea City.”

He thought of a terrifying possibility. ‘Earl hates me. It‘s predictable that he‘ll come to Sea City to take

his revenge. ‘He might come for Addy instead...’

He subconsciously embraced Adina. “We must stay together from now on.”

‘Earl has raw data from the biochip. It‘ll be extremely easy for him to harm Addy...‘

“Duke, don‘t worry. He won‘t dare to do anything. If he were to find me, he‘ll definitely bump into you.

He isn‘t that stupid to enter the lion‘s den.” Adina gave a forced smile. The two hugged each other

tightly. The atmosphere became a little dreary. The night was getting darker as the clock struck eleven.

Duke finally let go of Adina.

“Addy, it‘s getting late. Get some rest. I‘ll keep you company in the room next door.”

Adina nodded and went into her bedroom obediently.

As soon as she got back to the room, she went to check the balcony and shifted the dresser to block

the balcony glass door. Only then, she felt relieved. After she was done, she heard Earl‘s voice echoing

in her head.

“Addy, open the glass door.”

His voice echoed repetitively in her head.

Adina clenched her fists tightly and tried to fight against the voice.

The more she tried to go against the system‘s instructions, the more the back of her head hurt. It was

as if her brain was about to explode...

All of a sudden, she tasted something metallic. Then, her mouth was filled with blood.

All the fight left her, and her willpower broke. Blood dripped down the corner of her mouth. She was

already walking toward the balcony and moving the dresser that was blocking the

glass door. She then unlocked it.

A dark figure walked in and drew the curtains. He was as cold as the night.

“Poor girl.” Earl‘s hand stroked Adina‘s lips lightly and wiped the blood away. She tried to evade him but

failed. Earl grabbed her chin tightly. “You‘d rather bleed than let me in. Adina, does Duke know that

you‘re keeping yourself pure for him?”

Adina‘s gaze was filled with anger. “Earl, just kill me.”

“Kill you? Why should I?” Earl chuckled. “Do you know why I returned to Sea City? Firstly, I‘m here to

teach you a lesson. I want you to know the consequences of betraying me. Secondly, it‘s time for Duke

and I to put an end to the grudge between us. I want you to kill him for me.”

Adina gritted her teeth

“But, no matter what, he‘s my biological younger brother. I don‘t want to kill him just like that.” Earl

lowered his head and sniffed Adina‘s neck. “How about this? Make me happy tonight, and I‘ll let Duke

live for a few more days. How does that sound?”
