“Okay.” Toph chuckled. “Since you don’t want to guess, I won’t tell you I’ve prepared a litter of little kittens for you!

Renee’s heart clenched, and her hand holding the phone trembled slightly.
There was a time when she casually mentioned wanting to raise a kitten, and Toph had actually taken it to heart.

“Alright, tell me where you are! I’m coming to pick you up and take you to my place to see the kittens!”
“It’s really fine.” Renee’s heart warmed. “I’ll go to your place myself.”
After hanging up, she hurriedly headed to the Hamertons’ residence.
