The two bodyguards left immediately. Seamus and Persephone were the only ones in the house.

Seeing her battered appearance stirred anger and pain within Seamus.

"We brought a significant amount of ointment from Centrolis." He placed the burn ointment in her hand. "I noticed

you burned your arm. I'm unsure if other parts of your body are affected, so I can't assist there. Examine yourself

and attend to any injuries. I'll be waiting at the door. Call me when you're finished."

Persephone remained motionless, tears streaming from her vacant eyes.
