Renee was already sobbing uncontrollably as she threw herself into her mother’s embrace. Kaitlyn’s hug was as

“I’ve always thought we should ask the professor again,” Lina said, looking at Zuko. “He might have left out
something important.”
Zuko said quietly, “But keeping a patient’s condition private is a basic ethical rule for a doctor.”
“This is really important. We need this information.”
While they were talking, Renee walked over with a serious expression.

Lina sensed something was amiss and immediately approached Adam to find out what was happening. This time,
she went straight to the point.
