crawling from the base of her ears to her cheeks.
However, Jeremy was more concerned about Madeline’s physical condition at the moment. He walked straight to
her and took her hand. “Linnie, are you okay? Why didn’t you respond when I called out to you?”
Madeline pulled her hand back, her expression changing drastically. “Y-You…”
Her small face turned red immediately as she turned to grab the bath towel. However, since she was in a hurry, she
forgot about the injury on the sole of her foot. After stepping heavily on the ground, she shuddered in pain.
“Ah.” Madeline gasped in pain.
Jeremy dashed behind Madeline to support her shoulders with both hands.
