“Theresa, you finally come to see me! They told me that you will never see me again but I know it’s not true! You
are here!”
Theresa comforted Old Mr. Calsis and had a nice talk with him. “Is there any hope for grandpa to make a complete
recovery? Her eyes grew misty as she asked.
“We have consulted many renowned doctors in this field about his disease, but their conclusions of them are almost
the same. He is too old for most of the effective treatments, so, we decide to ensure him a relatively pain-free life
in his remaining days.”
Theresa knew that grandpa’s life was drawing to a close and he must want to live without pain compared with living
longer.
“And,” Roderick continued after a short pause, “what he needs most is family’s company, instead of medical
