Theresa sat up and looked at Charlie. “Sure. Come on in.”

again?”

Looking at his receding figure, Theresa felt weird. She was not used to his courtesy.
She wondered why he suddenly changed.
The man who used to be domineering would actually knock on the door when he came in. Besides, he
wouldn’t argue with her.
Theresa felt a little bored and fell asleep.
When she woke up, she went downstairs and found that Charlie had indeed left, but Dick had come.
He wore a mask and coughed from time to time.

He paid her for her treatment.

Theresa asked, “What kind of dinner is it?”
