Chapter 1401

Sherry laughed and asked, “Syl, have you and Master Carter come back from your vacation?"

Sylvia replied, "We got home last night."

Sherry said, "Have you guys clarified everything clearly this time?"

"Yeah, he promised me that there won't be a next time."

Sherry was amused. "Okay."

Sylvia asked, "Sherry, he's always keeping Caprice by his side. It's not a long-term solution for you to keep finding the child behind

his back. Do you want to try to talk to him?"

Sherry thought of the scene she had just seen outside the park. If she had not used a body double and gone there herself, she

would have been locked up by him again now.

When she contacted him last night, she did not say anything harsh to him on the phone, and she supposed that her tone was quite

amicable. However, that damned man still wanted to nab her.

Was it even possible to talk to him?

Sherry frowned and said, "I know, Syl. I'll think about it again.”

Sylvia replied, "Okay."

Sherry put her phone away.

On the other end of the phone, Sylvia, who was far away in the old Carters' mansion in Westchester, was

surrounded by Flint, Isabel, and Liam.

Ever since she and Odell came back last night, the three little ones had become limpets.

Flint always followed behind her. Isabel and Liam were not clingy, but she could see them around wherever she

went. It was most likely because she had been away for too long this time.

At this moment, right as she put down her phone after chatting with Sherry, Flint's little head peeked out from her

side, and his hand held up a piece of drawing paper. "Mommy, this is the drawing I just finished.”

He looked at her with bright and shining eyes, his face looking like it was begging for praise.

Sylvia smiled and took the drawing into her hand.

There was no sense or skill in the drawing. It was all kinds of different colors and shapes gathered in one space, so

she did not know what he was trying to draw. However, the colorfulness was full of childishness and was very cute.

She laughed and said, "You're a great painter, Flint."

"Really?" Flint added, “But I don't think the drawing is very good."

Sylvia's eyes lit up, and she asked with a smile, "Do you like drawing?"

Flint quickly said, "Yeah, I like drawing!"

Sylvia smiled and touched his little face. "It's true that you don't have many skills now, but

Mommy can teach you.”

Flint's dim eyes lit up. “Okay! Thank you, Mommy!"

"Hmph."

Suddenly, a displeased harrumph came from behind.

Sylvia turned her head to look at Isabel.

Before she could speak, Flint asked Isabel with a puzzled look on his face, "Why are you scoffing? Did I do something wrong?" "Stop

pretending in front of me, you fatty, or I'll whoop your butt!" Isabel raised her little fist at him.

Sylvia did not know if Flint was really scared or just deliberately pretending to be pitiful in front of her, but he burrowed into her

arms, hugging her and screaming, "Mommy, save me. Isabel is going to beat me again!”

Isabel crossed her arms and looked at him. Fatso, you've been clinging to Mommy all night since last night, and you've been

clinging to her since morning until now. How much longer are you going to stick to her?"

Flint's large eyes were watery. “Isabel, I just wanted to show Mommy the picture I drew."

Isabel exposed him mercilessly. “Don't think I don't know what you're thinking. You just want to find an excuse for Mommy to keep

you company."

Flint's large eyes looked around, then he said,

"Do you want Mommy to keep you company too? Then, you can show Mommy the picture you drew." Isabel instantly choked.

Then, she reached out and grabbed Flint!

Flint instantly flashed to Sylvia's other side like a big nimble rabbit.

Isabel missed her mark and went after him.

The siblings ran around Sylvia.

Sylvia's lips twitched, and she said helplessly,

"Okay, you'll all go to the studio with me. I'm not going anywhere today. I'll teach you to draw at home."
