The little girl was just so cute!
Sherry could not resist her and kissed her face twice again.
Standing not far away, Queenie was dumbfounded. After all, Caprice did not like to be too close to people and
rarely let people hold her, let alone kiss her.

Sherry carried Caprice out.
The snacks were all freshly made on the day itself. There were a few plates of delicious morsels on the table.
Sherry placed her down, and she reached out for the snacks. She ate slowly like a chick pecking at grains.
Sherry and Queenie sat to the side while chatting and eating with Caprice.
In the study, the man, who had been working for a long time, came out. When he reached the corridor, he heard
the sound of Sherry and Queenie chatting in the living room.
Caprice sat between them, eating snacks.
The warm living room was filled with their voices. It was very different from the usual coldness, and the atmosphere
was warm.
He leaned against the wall and watched them for a while. The corners of his lips also subconsciously curled up.
When Caprice was tired from eating and lay in Sherry’s arms to nap, Queenie asked in a soft voice, “Sherry, I heard
you got a marriage certificate with my brother again. Is that true?”

and became the president.”

“No.” Sherry took a bite of Caprice’s snack and said, ” Sager Corporation wasn’t doing well back then. I helped
them pick up a big order, and Madam Sager let me into the marketing department because she thought that I was

their clubhouses and opened several nightclubs and other entertainment establishments. The projects I handled

Queenie cupped her cheeks in her hands and said, “I really didn’t expect you to have a knack for business.”
Sherry raised her brows. “Well, I used to run a nightclub in Westchester.” Furthermore, she ran it very well. If she

Her eyes darkened. She did not want to think about those things, so she reached out and took Caprice’s juice pack
and drank it. It was sweet and sour, and very delicious.
Queenie suddenly glared at her. “You’re going to finish all of Caprice’s snacks if you keep eating.”
“I’m her mom. I can eat them all if I want to.”
Queenie snorted.
Not far away, the slender figure of the man leaned against the wall while listening to their conversation. His eyes
behind his glasses flickered several times.
She made it sound simple, but the Sager Corporation was a well–known family business. Its shareholders and top
management were all members of the Sager family. She must have gone through many hardships to become the
president of Sager Corporation.
