Chapter 1954

Even if Caprice was not the only daughter of the richest man in Glanchester, Heather had no right to treat Caprice

this way. Besides, she had tried to humiliate Caprice time and time again. How could she be so shameless to

pretend she was her friend?

Isabel looked at her with a vacant, depreciating look.

Heather did not take kindly to this. She broke out into insults immediately," Isabel, you're just a third-rate actor who

climbs in bed with rich men to climb up the social ladder! How dare you insult me?!"

Despite being shielded by Isabel, Caprice had had enough of this. She did not mind Heather hurling insults at her,

but she would not stand it if Isabel was the victim, especially when she was spouting such insulting nonsense!

Her patience was at its limit!

"Heather, you're a prick!" she cussed out loud and wanted to step in front of Isabel.

Isabel pulled her back defensively.

Not only was Isabel not ruffled in the slightest, but she even began to coax Caprice, smiling the entire time, "Relax,

Caprice. I'm going to handle this.

Just watch."

With that, she walked up to Heather.

Heather glared at the approaching Isabel viciously. "Isabel, if you dare to raise a finger against me, I'll make sure

you don't get to walk out of this place in one piece."

Her friends stepped forward as well to intimidate Isabel.

Caprice was getting concerned and wanted to step up to support Isabel. Before she even managed a step, she

heard a sharp smack that reverberated against the walls.

Isabel had drawn up as much momentum as she could and delivered a powerful slap at Heather's face.

Heather was nearly thrown off balance.

Caprice had never witnessed anything like this. Her eyes grew wide.

Heather's friends were utterly floored. A stiff, oppressing silence reigned over them for a moment.

After the moment passed, Heather pulled herself straight and held a hand over the side of her face that Isabel had

struck. She glared murderously at her. "You’re dead!"

She threw herself at Isabel.

Isabel swiftly dodged backward while stepping on the hem of Heather's dress, all in one swift motion.

Thump!

Heather tumbled forward and crashed to the floor.

"Pfft..." Caprice could not stifle her laugh when she saw the comedic display.

Heather's friends were shocked by what happened. They quickly rushed up to Heather to help her.

Meanwhile, Isabel had returned to Caprice’s side. She led her away from the scene. "Come on, let's use another

washroom."

"Alright."

If they stuck around, Heather was going to have her friends rush at them. They would be outmatched in that

scenario. Even if they managed to put up a good fight, they would not end up any better than the rest of them.

As soon as they scuttled away, Heather's friends pulled her to her feet.

Heather staggered to her feet, her eyes ringed with anger.

"Where is Isabel?! Where is she going?!' she shrieked.

Her friends told her fearfully, 'They’re gone."

'That b*tch! I'm going to kill them!" she screamed and prepared to storm outside.

Her friends tugged at her and stopped her.

"Heather, you have to calm down. There are a lot of people out there. You'll get laughed at if you go out in this

state."

'That's right. Besides, those two b*stards are not going to leave any time soon, so we can deal with them in time."

Heather stifled her rage. She gnashed her teeth and hurled countless obscenities while sweating. "I will give them a

fate worse than death!"

She stayed inside the washroom for a while to fix her makeup.

As soon as she emerged from the washroom, she bumped into her mother, Sophia.
