Listening to her speech, Connor and Olivia hung their heads in shame and avoided her gaze, whereas Jared only
had a pained look in his eyes.
“Sorry, Ellie. I’m really ashamed of what we did,” Connor said before taking the bank card out of his wallet. He
continued, “Here’s 7.5 million on the card, and its passcode is six sixes. Just change the passcode yourself.”

helped you back then, after all.” She was so anxious that she lost her mind and actually pleaded with the man.
To her, it was as though the Presgrave Family’s money would fall from the sky, the family was so wealthy that she
