By the time Genevieve regained her senses, she was driving both of them back to Bruce’s place,
Ever since he wrapped up his last movie, Bruce stayed at home to rest and would often cook, which was the reason why his fridge was filled withi ingredients.

Since she wouldn’t be of any help, she left the kitchen with the plate of fruits.
For some inexplicable reason, Bruce’s couch seemed to have a mysterious power over her even though it wasn’t expensive. The moment she sat on it, she felt a sense of relcasc and the urge to fall asleep.
Cognizant that it would be extremely embarrassing if she did, Genevieve quickly sat up straight.
In the meantime, she spotted two documents on the coffee table. With some words printed on top and Bruce’s name at the bottom, they looked as if they were movie scripts,

Even though Genevieve had no real interest in movic scripts, she would go through them when she was bored, especially if they were from successful movies or dramas. In fact, she had read many that were related to gay romance.
Considering how highly educated she was and the amount of exposure she had in life, she felt that homosexual romance wasn’t that different from the heterosexual kind.
Unfortunately, there were still many in the world who frowned upon homosexuals on the basis that humanity needed to reproduce to ensure the survival of the species.
As a result, it was hard for homosexual-themed movies to be screened, let alone attract investors.
While Bruce was cooking up a storm in the kitchen, Genevieve quietly skimmed through the script in the living room page by page. Before she knew it, she had finished both of them.
As the scripts ended at the climax, she hurried into the kitchen to see Bruce. “Where are the rest of the scripts?”
At that trioment, he was about to fry some food.
Worried that she would be caught by the splattering oil, Bruce nudeed Genevieve back a few steps with his arm. “There are some issues with the rest of the script. Nonetheless, it will be sent to us once the amendments are done.”
“When will that be?” Genevieve pressed on.
“About a week, I guess.” It was only then that Bruce noticed she had rushed in from the living room barefooted.
A slight disappointment descended upon her. “In that case, you must have seen the ending before. Why don’t you tell me about it?”
“I can’t, as I never received the second half of the script.” After turning down the fire on the stove, Bruce washed his hands before grabbing a pair of slippers for her from the shoe cabinet in the doorway.
Subsequently, he returned to the kitchen and knelt down.
Lowering her gaze by reflex, she saw him putting on a light green pair of indoor slippers for her.
As the bottom of the slippers were made of wool, stepping on them felt exceptionally comfortable.
Her eyes lit up. “These are really soft. Where did you get them?”
“I bought them from a shop in Frosa while filming.”
When he saw how much she liked them, Bruce planned to procure more wool the next time and try knitting a sweater for her.
Meanwhile, once Bruce was done frying fish and prawns, he went on to make a special sauce to go with them.

“You’re an amazing cook.” Genevieve couldn’t stop praising his cooking. “I’m just surprised how someone who’s rich, handsome, cooks well, and attentive to ladies ends up being cheated on by Coco. Is she blind?”
Within a short time of his debut, Bruce had won the best actor award. There was barely any gossip about him other than Coco being his girlfriend.
Even then, rumor had it that she didn’t want their relationship to be made public. That was why it was kept a secret the entire time.
Struck by a sudden thought, Genevieve threw Bruce a quick glance before lowering her head to cat, keeping the burning question to hersell.
Having caught the look in her eye, Bruce could feel his lips twitch.
She really knows how to let her imagination run wild.
