In the north gate at the town of the Shadow Warriors, Morin had somehow managed to enter Alfius' body.
Alfius knew Morin was trying to take his body from him and thus did not even falter as he pierced himself in the stomach.
The two immediately began experiencing ssort of flashback.
Their memories began intermingling.
They saw their master. He brought the demon sword over to Morin.
"I hope you can be entrusted with the power of the demon sword." "Wait, why is it a weapon..." Alfius finally cback to his senses.

"I'm actually one of the heirs to the sword as well, but I always thought my turn would never arrive. Now, the demon sword has taken everyone's lives, and I'm the only one left. I... I don't want to die! So, Morin, quickly take it! Hold it!" Alfius felt like his world was shattering around him. The master he had always looked up to had ended up being a coward who was scared of dying.
He questioned the authenticity of the memories appearing in his mind but could vaguely sense that this was a memory of an incident that had actually occurred in real life. Perhaps it was a product of Morin taking over his body.
Either way, this immersive feeling was completely different from experiencing an illusion. Perhaps it could, indeed, be reality. Alfius did not know what to do.
Then, the scene changed.
Morin did not pick up the demon sword. After that, their master took the demon sword and returned to the Twilight Sect's headquarters.
Back then, the swordsman association was still affiliated with the Twilight Sect.
Despite asking around, their master still failed to cup with a solution.
Then, it was Christmas Eve.
Their master had a terrified look on his face as he slashed the demon sword. A strong gust of demonic power burst forth and summoned the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.
"Which means..." Alfius' eyes widened in disbelief as he stood rooted to the spot.
"Master... It was him... who... Sunny..." "He killed Sunny," Morin's voice rang out from behind him.
"I'm sure you understand why I did what I did now, Alfius," Morin's voice rang out.
Morin did not bother sugarcoating things. "Everyone in the swordsman. association ended up dead because of Master's actions. I decided to steel my heart and do what I did to him so that he wouldn't endanger the lives of the civilians living nearby. Content belongs to en.kikistories"Alright, Alfius. I'm sure you're touched now." Alfius nodded dazedly.

"Hey! Hey!" He suddenly jerked wide awake.
Mosley materialized before him.
"Hey! Wake up! Wake up!" "Go to sleep. Don't listen to him, go to sleep. I'll live life on your behalf as a hero," Morin's voice continued ringing out.
Alfius' eyes felt heavy.
"Don't fall asleep!" Mosley yelled.
"No one would just call themselves a hero! Don't be fooled by him!" "No! I'm a hero! I'm a hero! He's willing to sacrifice his life for me! He's willing!" An invisible pair of hands grabbed Mosley.
"A real hero wouldn't be mentioning that fact non-stop, nor would they ask someone else to make sacrifices for them. You're a lowly bastard!" Mosley roared.
