Jack carried Joanne in his arms and headed for his car. It was summer, so he was soon sweating, but he muttered,"
Are you so stupid? Can't you see I want you to hold me? I suppose only I’m willing to be your boyfriend."
Joanne rolled her eyes at Jack. "Are you really Ada's brother?
"Of course!" Jack said with a smug.
"I suspect you were adopted. You have nothing in common with Ada." Joanne scoffed. And she added, "Stop calling
me your girlfriend. You have too many girlfriends."
"Since I met you, I've broken up with them all."

Edwin pulled over to the side of the road across the hospital. He got out of the car with a breakfast bag which he
especially got from a nearby luxurious hotel.
He had taken a shower and changed his clothes, but he still smelled faintly of alcohol.
He was excited and nervous, not as decadent as he was in the Atherton Group.
Before he got out of the car, he looked in the mirror and fixed his hair. He looked dashing.

He saw Jack carrying Joanne in his arms and the two were flirting. Edwin was annoyed.

Jack walked up to his car. He put Joanne in the car and fastened her seat belt.
As he got up, he said something to Joanne and Joanne gave him a glare. She wasn't really angry, and the
deliberately angry look on her face was adorable.
When Edwin went to see Joanne in the hospital, she was cold to him. When she glared at him, she looked like she
really hated him. But when she was in Jack's arms, she looked so happy.
She used to smile at Edwin in that way, but now she gave her smile to Jack.
When Jack drove away, Edwin was still in a daze.
A dustman walked up to him and said, "Sir, you've been standing here a long time. Can you walk to the side? I'm
sweeping the road."
Snap-- Edwin threw the breakfast bag into the trash can. He was very frustrated.
"Isn't this breakfast bag from that luxurious hotel? Are you going to throw it away, Sir?"
The dustman asked behind Edwin.
The bag was sealed. It should have cost several hundred dollars.
Edwin did not answer. He even forgot about his car. He walked away in a daze.
Joanne wanted to go back to East Imperial to pack her stuff, but she couldn't walk, so she had to ask Jack to do it

"This is the key to my apartment. Please help me pack some clothes and necessities," Joanne said.
Jack had bought a plane ticket for her. The flight was in two hours, so she had a tight schedule.
"I've been so good to you. I picked you up from the hospital, bought the plane ticket for you, and I’m packing your
stuff. How are you going to show your thanks?"
Jack playfully curled his lips and pointed to the right side of his face.
He hinted at a kiss from Joanne.
Joanne took some cash out of her purse and handed it to Jack with a stern face.
"Usually, it costs two hundred dollars to get a worker to do that for me. I'll give you three hundred dollars."
Jack's mouth twitched.
He guessed that he knew why such a beautiful woman was dumped by Edwin.
Damn! This woman is not fun at all!'
When Jack went upstairs, he was playing with the key in his palm. Suddenly, he stared at the key and had an idea.
