As the young lady passed by Eileen, she accidentally bumped into her at the door.

After speaking, Eileen left the classroom.

The two nearby students dared not make a sound, feeling that the menace in Elm’s eyes had

Eileen asked the cleaner for a plastic bag and put the notebook inside.

When will Elm change his temper? He tore up someone’s notebook without reason. What a waste.

As Eileen was about to leave, she heard a girl’s playful laughter from the corridor behind her. “Elm,

where are we going later?”

“Where would you like to go?”

Eileen adjusted her slipping shoulder strap and turned around, only to see Elm with his arm around a

tall, innocent, and beautiful female student. Judging by her uniform, she should be from the same

school. The two walked right past her.

“Eileen!” someone shouted. Walking towards her, the person said, “Mr. Gardner asked you to go to his

office.”

Eileen withdrew her gaze, unsurprised by his new girlfriend.

A man’s heart sure was a deep ocean of secrets.

After visiting the office and collecting the materials, she headed to the enrichment program.

Rather than calling it an enrichment program, it would be more accurate to call it a rigorous class.

Originally, it was three hours long, and she could go home at nine, but it was extended until half past

ten.

Their teacher was an elderly man in his sixties or seventies, wearing reading glasses.

A test awaited them in the final hour and a half. Those unable to complete it were forbidden. to leave,

and anyone who simply answered the questions would face the consequence of copying the questions

a hundred times. Even those who finished early were obliged to wait until half past ten before being

allowed to leave.

Eileen covered her mouth and yawned, completely unaware of the person outside the door.

“Ms. Eileen has it tough. She goes to school from seven until ten. Then, she has to do her. homework

until midnight.”

Jasper peered through the window, his eyes crinkled up in laughter. “She’s just doing what she should

at her age. She’s always been outstanding, right?”

Fabian nodded in agreement.

Some people were born with a natural talent for learning. Even if they did nothing, they would still

Someone noticed the man outside.

It caused quite a commotion,

“Who is that?”

Resting her hand against her forehead, Eileen squinted her eyes, taking a short nap. Upon hearing the

sounds from the classroom, she curiously looked towards the door.

When she saw the person in the black suit outside the window, Eileen was stunned. Why is he

here?

Sitting on the podium, the teacher wearing glasses looked up and cleared his throat.

He expected them to quiet down, but someone took the lead and rushed out. “My idol!”

One after another, they ran out.

Eileen’s desk was almost knocked over in the commotion. Watching everyone run out, she was

genuinely taken aback.

In just a few minutes, everyone was gone.

Eileen awkwardly received the thoughtful gaze of the teacher on the podium.

Who knew that his arrival would cause such a stir?

Gilbert instructed, “Submit your test, and you may leave once I have graded it.”

Eileen promptly handed in her paper. Turning around anxiously, she noticed that Elm had already

attracted a crowd. If it weren’t for his remarkable height, being the tallest among them, Eileen would

have struggled to locate him amidst the gathering.

“How did you end up in the enrichment program with these grades? Didn’t Jacob allow you to join

directly?”

“Something happened earlier, so I took a break from school for a while. The Olympiad Math Class was

already full, so i had no other option but to join the enrichment program.

“You’re just taking up a spot in the enrichment program.” Gilbert glanced at her name once. more. “Are

you Eileen Swan, the one who missed classes for half a month?”

“Mr. Campbell, I was ill and had to take a leave.”
