"How can this be? I was so sure..." she muttered in disbelief, as if she was waking up from a long dream.
I sighed in relief, tears streaming down my face. Thank God. Finally, fate had shown smercy.

It was just the three of us now in the ward. I couldn't hold it in anymore! I it threw myself into Ethan's arms, crying uncontrollably. "We did it, honey! Finally, we've earned everyone's respect. No one can tear us apart now!" I exclaimed.
He gently kissed the tears from my face. "Thanks for givinga real family." Smiling through my tears, I leaned in and kissed him first.
