The car, which had kept a certain distance away, suddenly sped up and barreled toward them. Instead

"Nothing. The car behind us looked like it was about to hit us, so I sped up," Lily answered.
"Hit you?" Dominic shouted. "How is that nothing?"

She had never heard him so angry before. No matter how angry he got, he never threatened to kill

"Calm down, old man. We're fine!" She said calmly as she sharply turned the wheel, drifting the car
around the bend.
It was good that she learned how to drive and did not rely too much on the chauffeur. As she drove
often, her driving skills were not bad. Otherwise, she would not know what to do now.
She saw the car behind catch up and said solemnly, "Galen, hold onto the seat belt!"
She steered hard in one direction, and the wheels screeched across the ground as the car made a spin
and charged past its pursuer.
Unprepared for the abrupt maneuver, the car braked immediately, and by the time it made a U-turn, it
had fallen behind.
Looking at the rearview mirror, Lily saw the car was now far behind them and let out a slight sigh of
relief. However, knowing it would catch up soon, she dared not let her guard down. All she could do
was bide her time and wait for Dominic's men to assist her.

She wanted to ask her son if he was doing okay but heard clapping instead. "Mommy is awesome!"

ears!"
She gently stepped on the brake, trying her best to keep the car from flipping, and the car gradually
slowed down. Keeping her eyes on the approaching vehicle, Lily looked over as it came almost parallel
to hers and saw its occupants.
