After the duo settled some things, it was already dark outside.

“Daddy, are people getting sick?”

“Then am I getting sick too?”
The boy pointed at his tiny nose and asked innocently.
Stumped, Alexander shook his head.
“You won’t.”
He knew he would risk his life to save his son, even if Galen had gotten infected.
However, Alexander felt a surge of sorrow as he looked at his son’s tiny hands and body after hearing
his innocent question.

they realize that the well- being of their loved ones is what matters most”
“Daddy, I’m not afraid of dying!”
The kid held his father’s hand and let out an earnest look.
“But I miss Mommy.”
