Chapter 1941

"Perhaps it's a pathogen or something we don't know about,” Dominic murmured, his eyes shut,

drained of all energy. Meanwhile, the other two leaned over to listen intently since his voice was soft.

However, although Dominic moved his lips slightly, no other words came out. The two men exchanged

puzzled looks and wondered if anything was wrong with their hearing.

"Uncle Dorn, what did you say?" Austin asked again.

Dominic's mouth moved, but no voice came out.

"He's not saying anything," Alexander concluded.

At this moment, Dominic suddenly shut his mouth and stopped moving, seemingly falling into a stupor

again. After staring at him, Austin called out tentatively, "Uncle Dorn? Uncle Dorn!"

The older man gave no response.

"Seems like..." Before Austin could finish, Dominic suddenly snapped his eyes open.

Austin was startled and quickly leaned over. "Uncle Dorn?"

Dominic looked dazed as if he had just woken up from sleep. Then he turned his gaze to Austin. "You...

brat!"

"Yes, it's me!” Knowing that Dominic might be unable to stay awake for too long, Austin quickly asked,

"What should I do to help you?"

Dominic did not say anything and waved slightly.

"Uncle Dorn?"

"Do... nothing!" The older man's head then drooped aside.

"Uncle Dorn!" Austin called out alarmingly, then held Dominic's wrist to take his pulse. He initially

looked grim but gradually unfurled his furrowed brow.

"How is he?" Alexander asked.

Austin looked up and replied, "He passed out."

In other words, Dominic had only lost consciousness temporarily, and his life was not in danger. Still,

Austin wondered how long his granduncle could cope with the symbiotes inside him, even if his life

were not in danger.

'We haven't devised a solution, and Dominic told us to do nothing. Is there genuinely nothing we can do

to help?'

"How... should I help you?" Austin looked at Dominic's face and murmured to himself.

Alexander spoke gravely, "I think he's trying to tell us not to do anything before determining what type

of pathogens or symbiotes are inside your bodies. The less you do, the less mistakes you’ll make."

"But..." Austin was doubtful. He knew it was the truth but could not bear to sit and wait after seeing

Dominic suffer constantly.

"No buts, okay? Your granduncle is right, and it's best to listen to him. Unless, of course, you can

devise a definitive solution," Alexander said as he patted Austin’s shoulder.
