Chapter 754 “The hospital.” Jenny got straight to the point. “I mean, you should verify it, right? At least

you’ll know what to do.”

After a moment of silence, Lily said quietly, “I didn’t go to the hospital.”

“You were afraid to? Do you want my company? This is so unlike you, though. No matter what, it’s

better to know, right?”

Lily bit her lower lip. “It’s not that. I already tested it myself.”

Jenny asked immediately, “Then? Are you really... pregnant?”

The answer was obvious in Lily’s hesitant expression.

“Yes.” Lily nodded her head. She felt conflicted since knowing about it, and her thoughts were a mess.

“Oh my God! That means I’m supposed to...” Jenny paused to think before saying, “...congratulate

you?”

Under normal circumstances, Jenny would congratulate her, but now that Lily had just started her

studio and had begun accepting orders. Being pregnant meant giving up all of that. Should Jenny

congratulate her or lament that the child had come at the wrong time?

“I have no idea. I never thought it’d be happening now. Besides, I’m not ready. I don’t even know if my

body’s condition is good enough. Since I’ve been in contact with the ingredients and chemicals for so

long, I wonder if it would affect the child.”

scenario thoughtfully. “If it were up to me, I’d suggest that you keep the child as it’s your baby, after all.

There’s no need to rush things at the studio, and you can take your time. Besides, you’re not in

Jenny was right that she was struggling to make a decision. That was why she did not know what to

say to Alexander. She was unsure how he would react to the news and whether he would

welcome the baby. Even if he would, she had yet to decide whether to keep it.

“You better think it through. However, you mustn’t drag your feet, okay?”

“Drag your feet over what?” Olivia only caught the tail-end of the conversation as she walked in from

the outside. “Mopping the

Jenny threw her a side glance, trying not to laugh. “Yeah, yeah, the floor has to be properly mopped.”

“Anyway...” she turned back to look at Lily. “You shouldn’t drag your feet in certain matters. Besides, I

think you should tell him, as he has the right to know.”
