Lew’s smirked as well. “Thank you for understanding, Mr. Rogers. I will inform Mr. Logan about this matter, however
he paused, somewhat puzzled, “il Cody is really involved in drug trafficking, wouldn’t it be better for you to catch
him in the act when he receives the
prohibited goods?”
Drug trafficking was considered a serious crime in Caldor. With such a large quantity of smuggled goods, it would
be enough for Cody to
get the death sentence.
