Chapter 586

Lewis’ request was easy for Kevan. “I need you to put it out there that Microworks will be working together with

Fantasy Utopia for Traveling Through Time, the movie that you’re shooting this year.”

The momentum of Microworks buying the rights to “Traveling Through Time” was pretty big. Even people who did

not bother paying attention to it would have heard of it. But Lewis knowing about it had exceeded Kevan’s

expectations. Even more so was the fact that

Lewis mentioned Fantasy Utopia.

Kevan was familiar with the company, Fantasy Utopia. When they were shooting “Wormhole,” he had once

struggled to decide between Fantasy Utopia and Crescent Legend for their post-production team, Later, a movie

that Crescent Legend had done the special effects for was screened, gaining pretty good box office sales, and their

reputation began to surge too.

In order to ride out on this bit of success. the company brass decided on Crescent Legend as a bid for a favorable

outcome.

Both companies worked well together, and “Wormhole” did not disappoint in breaking box office records. Hence,

Crescent Legend was naturally chosen again for the post-production work for “Traveling Through Time.”

“We’ve already signed with Crescent Legend though.” Kevan frowned as he was in a dilemma.

If he could help, even if Lewis did not return the favor, he would do everything he could to help.

Except-

“I’m not asking you to really work together with Fantasy Utopia.” Lewis explained. “Let me put it this way-it’s just for

Xavier Seymour to think that that’s what you’re going to do.”

Xavier?

Kevan’s frown deepened. He suddenly recalled that Cosmic was preparing to shoot “Migration to Mars, and that

they seemed to be intending to work with Fantasy Utopia for post-production. Was Lewis trying to get him to mess

this up by pretending?

The more he thought about it, the more possible it seemed.

“I need to let Crescent Legend know,” Kevan said.

Even if it was not real he needed to think about his business partner’s feelings. If they misunderstood him, the ones

getting messed up

would be them instead.

It was easy to talk to Crescent Legend’s president.

Kevan only said that it was due to promotional purposes, and the president agreed to let him hype things up with

the idea that Microworks was “going to work with Fantasy Utopia.”

As for Fantasy Utopia-

Lewis said that he would handle it. Moreover, he even sent over a number and told Kevan to call at a specified time,

going as far as to

ensure that he would know what to say about it.

The time Lewis specified was tomorrow. Kevan memorized the script for what he was going to say before returning

to Larissa’s ward.

He had gone out for an hour, Larissa had already finished her dinner, and Mrs. Griffin was giving her a wipe-down.

When Keyan went inside, he saw Larissa lying on the bed with her gown partially undone. His eyes darkened at

once, and his blood began

to rush downward.

Hearing the noise by the door, Larissa struggled to her head. When she locked eyes will Kevan, she bellowed out of

both embarrassment and shame, “Outl

Kevan heeded her desires and turned around, pushing down the disappointment that he left. “My apologies,” he

said in a deep voice, but remained at the door and did not leave. “It’s a little cold.” He made a show of rubbing his

arms. “Could I stay in the ward? I promise that I

won’t look.”

His tone was surprisingly sincere, and there was a hint of a plea in il

not knowing what to say.

It seemed that she did not have anything to threaten him with.

Kevan could imagine the way she was frowning and biting her lip at the moment-the way that she normally looked

when struggling with something. A smile began to rise on his lips, and he happily picked up where she left off,

“Otherwise, I’ll go out and be struck by lightning.”

He was used to not caring about taboos because he did not believe in them, so he tended to swear rather harshly-

But the only person

who could make him promise like this was Larissa.
