Chapter 662

Kevan opened his eyes and said mildly. “Why?”

Dylan took a deep breath so that he could say everything he wanted to say in one go. “I met Larissa in Winston last

night”

Kevan’s calmness cracked at once. He opened his mouth a little from the shock, and his mind was blank from this

startling news.

“What… did you say?”

Having not drunk any water last night, Kevan s dry throat made his voice sound like a broken violin because his

voice sounded very sharp and bad.

Dylan repeated what he had just said but in a calmer voice. It was probably because he had managed to calm

down.

“I was sending a client back to the hotel-l specially booked him a room in Winston Hotel, Dylan recalled what

happened then. “I was queuing up to help him check in at the front desk, I turned around and saw Larissa’s cousin-

that guy, what’s his name again? What Logan?”

“Lewis Logan Kevan said helpfully.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah! That’s him! I was going to go say hello when I took a closer look, and I saw that he was still

supporting someone!

Dylan did not need to say who Lewis was supporting because Kevan could guess who it was. His blood slowed down,

and his hands and feet gradually became cold.

He was completely unaware of her return to Caldor. Lewis never said anything either when they met in the club.

Their strange distance scared him pretty badly, Kevan did not dare to think about the reason why because he was

scared he could not handle it.

Kevan ripped his suit jacket off the chair before waking out. But his legs suddenly gave out beneath him-he did not

know if it was

because of the way he ripped his suit jacket from the chair or because of his extreme ar xiety-but he managed to

brace himself against the edge of the table, which prevented him from falling down in a mess in front of Dylan.

“Are you okay?” Dylan came over quickly to help him.

Kevan refused his kind gesture. “I’m line.” He blocked off Dylan’s hand with a cold look.

“I’ll be going out for a bit, and I won’t come back nere today. Help me inform Jordan to lind the vice president for

any important matters. The unimportant ones can wait until I have returned.”

Jordan Kellan was Kevan secretary.

“You want to go to Winston Hotel now?” Dylan looked at his watch. “It’s only 5 am right now. Larissa is probably not

Tm going home to shower.” Kevan replied shortly. His whole body stank of the wine and disgusting perfume from

the club last night. He did not notice it when he was working, but now it was very obvious to him.

Dylan was worried about him. “How about I go with you? He was afraid that Kevan was not calm enough and might

say something st upid

and trigger Larissa.

“No need.” Kevan eyed him. “If you have nothing to do, you can help me out in the office today.”

“Nope!” Dylan waved his hands at once. “I’m busy! Later, I have to meet with another client at my firm! Find

someone else instead!” With that said, he vanished from the office very quickly because he was afraid that Kevan

would make him work for him.

Kevan left co

There was no one else in the Microworks Building al 5 am. Kevan jogged the whole way during his journey, and the

cool breeze generated from his jogging made the warm insides of the building cooler.

Traffic in Bartham was always smooth in the morning before peak hours. Kevan drove at the literal speed limit to go

home in the shortest

time possible for a shower.

He had trouble deciding on what suit to wear alter that as he stood in front of his wardrobe, which had a row of

neat suits hung up nicely. Those suits were literally the same, but he kept comparing the suits and nit-picked

between them. He spent nearly half an hour before managing to match a suit combination that he was the most

satisfied with.
