Larissa did not feel the least bit happy that her guess had been confirmed.
An incredible fury consumed her.
She could only bite her lip to prevent herself from saying anything that would hurt.
She could guess the reason why he pretended to be in a coma. It was definitely not because he wanted to do

would have remained frozen for a very long time. He was not patient enough for that. Gelling things over with was
more his style.
His words were sincere, but Larissa took it differently. She became more alert as she snapped, “I won’t let you take
Aster away!”
Her guarded eyes hurt Kevan very much.
He was just about to explain when Larissa cut him off.
“Aster is my son! He has nothing to do with you! Don’t you already have Bethany? Why do you want to snatch my
son from me?!”
Whenever she thought that her son, who she carried for ten months and proceeded to raise alter, would be taken
away from her, Larissa’s emotions grew agitated.
She could not calm hersell enough to think rationally. Her thought process lumed farther down the wrong lane.

But now, he finally felt what it was to be misunderstood by others. He felt sad and felt like he wanted to protest
such an assessment.
“Even if your family has a damn throne” that you need to inherit, plenty of women would love to give you sons. Why
do you need to steal mine? I will only have Aster as my child. He’s the most important person to me in this whole
fucking world! Please leave Aster and me alone!
“Let’s just pretend that nothing has ever happened between us, and we’ll leave each other alone. Mmph!”
