Chapter 691

Larissa would never go with the man in black

Even if the car was bashed into twisted metal she could still resist for a bit. Maybe she could even drag things out

until Lewis came back.

The man in black got angrier, likely because she refused to get out of the car.

“You really want to do this the hard way, huh?”

He swung the baseball bat again. The sounds of the car window glass shattering could be heard.

The glass cracked into multiple pieces, and some of the pieces flew into the car. The pieces landed on the car seat

Without this layer of protection, Larissa could clearly see the cruel smile in the man’s eyes.

“Well? Get out now!” He threatened her.

Larissa pinched the flesh of her palm. She struggled to maintain her calm appearance.

“There are multiple surveillance cameras here,” she said, her voice trembling just a bit. “Do you think that the

police can’t find your?”

Who knew that the man in black was not the least bit afraid when she said that? He even went as far as to laugh.

“Do you think I’ll be so stupid? He gazed at Larissa smugly. “All the cameras in this parking lot have been turned off,

bitch. I’m telling ya even if I kill you here, the police won’t be able to find me.”

Larissa was shocked. It was not because she suspected the truth of his words, but he was so certain about it, and

he was breaking the

car without a care in the world-

“Are you a hotel employee?” she asked.

To be able to come and go through the hotel parking lot with ease and to be able to turn off the cameras here,

there was no other person who could do all these things unless one was a hotel employee.

The man’s expression froze for a moment and Larissa was more certain of her guess.

Her brain raced very quickly as she said. “Did we have some kind of confict previously?”

Objectively speaking, she had not worked for long at Bartham’s Winston Hotel. The people she had interacted with

mostly were hotel executives, and she had had no chance to really meet with any lower-ranked employees.

This man was very unfamiliar to her. She did not remember if she had any sort of beef with him previously. The

truth was, she could be totally sure that she had never had any beel with any hotel employee.

“Or, do you have some sort of plea or demand?”

Although she had left her position for a very long time ever since her illness, headquarters had not yet sent a new

person to replace her. So she was still Bartham’s Winston Hotel’s general manager.

Lower ranked employees would not know about such insider detalls, so they might indeed come to rage at her for

their dissatisfaction at the notel

“Shut up! You tak too much!” The man in black hit the car window again, and the remaining pieces of glass stuck to

the window frame came loose. Some even low onto Larissa’s body.

She jolted, and fear flashed through her eyes.

“Come out now!” The man in black lost his patience. Let’s see where else you can hide aller ve smashed all the

windows!”

“I just want to help you solve your problems.” Larissa remained calm and polite. “Violence is useless, it will only lead

you down the wrong path.”

“Can you motherf ucking just shut the f uck up, bi tch? The man in black angrily hit the car. “I have no problems

that need solving from you! I just want to take you away!”

Larissa gradually realized that this might be a planned kidnapping case

spread about her and Kevan two days ago. There would be countless people who would be jealous of her and more

who would want to

use her to threaten Kevan.

“I won’t go with you,” she plainly told the man in black.

If he simply wanted to get some sort of benefit from her, she might fulfill his wishes. But if he wanted to pin Kevan

down in some way, then

she would never let him have his way.

“Even if I die, I won’t go.”
