Thinking that he was in a hurry to leave, she decided to get straight to the point. “Can you tellhow we ran into each other last night?” Lucian’s face turned cold when Roxanne mentioned their encounter. “We happened to run into each other in the hotel elevator.” Even though he didn’t describe how he had wrestled her away from Jack’s arms, Roxanne had no trouble imagining it.
