Lucifer did not believe James’ words. Even if his father had died, the Primordial Spirit he left behind should have

“Leave us for now.” Lucifer turned and looked at the Protector.
“Understood.”
The Protector did not linger for long and hurriedly left.
Meanwhile, Lucifer released James, who collapsed to the ground. Then, he got up with great difficulty and sat in a
lotus position on the ground.
Lucifer, who was standing beside him, asked, “We’re alone now, so tell me the truth. How did you obtain this
physical body?”

James took a deep breath and said, “I told you I was once dead. However, someone saved me and used the
Demonic Lotus to reshape my physical body. That’s how I came back to life.”
Hearing this, Lucifer’s knees gave way. “There’s no more hope… Now that the Demonic Lotus is lost, my father can
never be resurrected.” He was dejected.
James sat on the ground and rested for some time before getting up with great difficulty and looking at Lucifer,
saying, “Do you intend to take back the Demonic Lotus? I’ve already cultivated a new Natal Demonic Lotus.”
Lucifer glanced at James, saying, “The Demonic Lotus has perfectly merged with your soul. This means that you
were predestined to obtain the Demonic Lotus and that you have my father’s acknowledgment. Otherwise, your
soul wouldn’t have merged with the Demonic Lotus flawlessly no matter how powerful you are.’
Then, he stood up and headed outside. James followed suit as many cultivators were imprisoned here. Outside, the
Protector waited.
Soon, the two walked out of the room.
“Master Lucifer… Master…” The Protector looked at the two.
Lucifer said, “We shouldn’t stay here for long. Order our men to retreat.”
“Wh-What about the cultivators in the dungeons?” The Protector looked at Lucifer before glancing at
James.
James said, “You should leave first and remove the Magic Circle. I’ll think of a way to save them.” “Understood.”
The Protector nodded.
Then, under his order, everyone hurriedly retreated. Soon, they were out of the stone cavern. Outside, the
Protector knelt.
“Master Lucifer, my ancestor is a Senior General under His Majesty’s banner. My duty is to wait here and resurrect
you.”

Lucifer clenched his fists.
“Master, that person has a Supreme Token of the Demon Race,” the Protector said.
Lucifer nodded slightly and said, “It’s understandable. He must have attracted the attention of some among the
Demon Race. That token must have been given to him by a core member of the Demon Race. Pay no heed to him.
We should leave at once.”
Then, Lucifer left alongside the members of the Demon Race.
James walked out of the camp. Seeing that everyone had left, he returned to the stone cavern.
As the Demon Race left, the Magic Circle disappeared. James, however, did not act impulsively. Instead, he waited
outside and waited for another day to pass.
Then, he released Henry, Delainey, and the cultivators who were being pursued from the Celestial Abode.
He looked at the cultivators and said coldly, “Since you’re safe now, you may leave. Do not tell anyone anything
about the Celestial Abode. Or else…”
