"What took you so long? Didn't you tell Patty that you'd be back in an hour?" Melody asked in a gloomy tone, prompting Lucas to turn.
"Don't you have Sherman with you? Why do you still need me?" Lucas retorted, leaving Melody stunned.
"I didn't know he'd find out that I was here! I never told him I was in the hospital!" "You don't need to explain it to me. You enjoyed your twith him, didn't you?" Lucas' tone suggested that he was jealous, which made Melody uncomfortable. She felt as though he was suspecting her of having covert meetings with Sherman.
