Corinne sat down and waited for Jeremy to change into a fresh set of clothes. She felt a little bored, so she took out

could chill and have a simple celebration.”
Corinne nodded. “I see. Happy birthday, then!”
“Thank you.”
Zeke smiled. He then intentionally stretched out a hand
toward her. “Don’t just give me your well wishes. Where’s my present?”
Corinne was speechless.
‘How would I have known that this was supposed to be a
